Do All Religions Point to the Same God?

Aren’t all religions basically the same? The simple answer is: No, they’re not.

We can hold all sorts of beliefs—about life, politics, relationships, priorities, or even about God—or choose to reject God altogether. Even atheism is, in a way, a belief system: the conviction that there is no God.

The God of the Bible

As followers of Jesus at Desert Springs Church, our beliefs are not something we’ve invented. They come directly from God’s Word, the Bible.

The Bible reveals:

• There is one eternal God, existing in three persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

• Each is equally God, yet together they are one God.

• “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16

When you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of the world, it changes everything.

Why Not “All Paths”?

Many religions teach very different views about God, humanity, and salvation. If truth matters—and it does—then all beliefs cannot be equally correct.
Greek mythology, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and countless other worldviews all make competing claims about God and eternity.

Rather than creating our own ideas about God, we choose to trust what God Himself has revealed in His Word.

Jesus made it clear:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” – John 14:6

The Eternal Difference

What you believe about God—or what you choose not to believe—makes an eternal difference. Jesus is not simply one option among many; He is the only way to a restored relationship with God, forgiveness of sins, and eternal life.

Take the Step of Faith

Believe in the God of the Bible.
Trust in His Son, Jesus Christ.
In Him, you will find forgiveness, eternal hope, and the One who is truly the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
