At Desert Springs Church we strive to know, grow and go with Jesus! How do we do that? We believe people discover their true purpose and identity by knowing God through a study of His Word with a group of other Christ-followers. Desert Springs offers a wide variety of options on how to study the Bible; At-Church Bible studies and At-Home Life Groups. Both of these involve studying the Bible, but they differ in their primary focus and structure.
At-Church Bible studies are typically more structured, with a focus on learning and understanding biblical content. At-Home Life Groups, on the other hand, emphasize building relationships, mutual support, and applying biblical principles to daily life.
Regardless of study type, they are open to all. Our goal is to help you grow in your knowledge of God’s Word in ways that make a difference in your life. Whether you’re a new believer, a long-time follower of Christ, or just curious to learn more, join us… Newcomers are always welcome!
“The Legacy Class” offers a Sunday morning large-group experience as our seniors (55+) gather together in The LOFT (upstairs in the Family Ministries building) from 9:15 – 10:30 AM. Join us year round for inspiring traditional worship music, coffee, snacks, life lessons and an interactive lesson with Pastor Jim Zeilenga, Pastor to Seniors and Groups. No signups required, just walk in to join us!
The Tuesday Morning Men’s Study meets on the Patio (weather permitting) or in Family Room at 8:00 am. Content is based on the Sunday morning sermons. Leadership rotates.
This Bible study, called “The Mix“, is an inspiring Bible study and support group that is for all adults; married, divorced, single or widowed men and women. This is a great place to find sincere encouragement, make friends, study the Bible and pray together. The group meets on Tuesday morning at 9:30 am in the church’s Suite 1. Questions? Wednesday Mornings are for the ladies! From September-May, Desert Springs’ women gather over the course of seven to twelve weeks to study and learn the word of God through various Bible studies. Bible study includes worship and video lessons with small group discussions. Director of Women’s Ministry, Pam Luerken, leads the group. Coffee & Snacks @ 8:30 am followed by the study session from 9:00 – 11:30 am.

The Men’s Ministry Bible study meets on Thursday mornings (October – May) at 8:30-10:00 AM in the church Family Room. The format includes worship, video & in-person Bible lessons and table discussions. Director of Men’s Ministry, Al Hurt, leads the group with weekly lesson leaders and guest speakers.
