IGNITE Student Ministries is Desert Springs Church’s premier youth group. This youth ministry serves both Middle School students (6th – 8th grade) and High School students (9th – 12th grade) twice a week.
Every Sunday, students can count on Sunday Youth, a combined group of IGNITE students. Students first meet in the Family Room (across from main sanctuary) for musical worship with family and friends. Once complete, the students are released to their youth room, The LOFT, for a student inspired message with Youth Director Ian Villasenor, or guest speaker. Time: 11:00am – 12:00pm.
IGNITE-High School meet on Tuesday nights (6:00-8:30PM) up in The LOFT. IGNITE-Middle School meets on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30 PM. Both youth gatherings typically feature: dinner, lively games, passionate worship, in-depth Bible study, and small groups (age/gender segregated) for reflection and prayer.
In addition to our weekly events, IGNITE students attend camps, conferences, serve local outreaches, and have spontaneous hangouts. Connect, grow, and serve by attending a group, or contacting Youth Director Ian Villasenor personally!
