Does God Forgive All Sin?

What Is Sin?

• Sin is anything we do against God’s laws and commands as revealed in the Bible.

Romans 6:23 gives both the problem and the solution:

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Through faith in Jesus—God’s only Son—who died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead three days later, we can be completely forgiven and assured of eternal life in heaven.

Forgiveness for Believers

Even after coming to Christ, we may still stumble. But when we confess our sins, God forgives us—not because we deserve it, but because of Jesus’ sacrifice on our behalf.

How to Receive God’s Forgiveness

If you want to settle the matter today, you can pray sincerely to God right now:

“Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me. I believe You are God’s only Son, that You died for my sins on the cross and rose from the dead so I can be forgiven and sure of heaven. Please forgive me for everything and come into my life. Help me now to live for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
