Importance Of Faith

Faith is central to the Christian life. In Hebrews 11:1, the Bible defines it this way:

“Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

Faith means trusting that God is real, that He is trustworthy, and that we can depend on Him completely. It’s through faith that we come into a personal relationship with God—restored to peace with our Creator.

Faith Brings Us to God

We don’t earn our way to heaven. We don’t deserve it. We don’t buy it. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ—God’s only Son—who died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again three days later. By trusting in Him, we are forgiven and promised eternal life.

But believing about God is not enough. We must place our trust in Jesus personally, turning to Him for salvation.

Living by Faith

Hebrews 10:38 tells us:

“The righteous shall live by faith.”

Faith is not just a starting point—it’s how we live every day, trusting God’s Word, His promises, and His character. He will never let you down.

An Invitation to Believe

If you’ve never placed your faith in Jesus, you can do so right now. Simply pray:

“Lord, I believe in You as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me of all my sins. Come into my life. I want to turn to You.”

When you do, He will forgive you, come into your life, and guide you into a lifetime of trusting Him.
