How to Find God's Will For Me?
Discovering Your Purpose in God’s Plan
Have you ever asked, “God, what do You want me to do with my life? What’s my real purpose?” The truth is, we all have many purposes for living, but at the heart of it, one of the greatest is to know the Lord, love Him, and follow Him.
Part of God’s will for you is also to be faithful in your relationships with others—loving and serving them in a way that honors Him.
Start with the Basics
The best way to begin walking in God’s will is to:
Get into His Word regularly — read and study the Bible to understand His character and commands.
Be in church every week — worship, fellowship, and grow with other believers.
Spend time in prayer — ask God to guide your steps.
Seeking God for Specific Direction
When it comes to your career, passions, ministry, and life direction, seek the Lord earnestly. Pray for wisdom. Look at the circumstances He allows in your life, and align them with what His Word says.
God’s Promise for Your Future
Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for good and not for harm, plans to give you hope and a future.”
God has a great plan for your life. The key is staying close to Him, trusting His timing, and following where He leads. As you pray, study Scripture, and remain faithful, His direction will become clearer.
