Are You Afraid Of Dying?

If you’ve ever thought about dying, here’s the most important thing you can do: make sure you know the Lord personally. It’s been said that you’re never really ready to live until you’re ready to die.

When you know Jesus Christ, death no longer has to be a fear—because He died and rose again so you could live with Him forever in heaven.

Jesus’ Promise of Eternal Life

In John 11, Jesus said:

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even if he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.”

If you have fear or concern about death, that’s understandable. The Bible says in Hebrews 9:

“It is appointed once for men to die, and then comes judgment.”

Before a holy God, if we’ve done anything wrong—and we all have—we’re guilty and face separation from Him for eternity in hell. But God doesn’t want you there.

God’s Rescue Plan

That’s why God gave His only Son, Jesus, to die for your sins, paying the full penalty on the cross. Three days after His burial, Jesus rose from the dead, proving the price was fully paid.

Now He invites you to come to Him:

“Lord, forgive me. I’m a sinner. I believe You are the Son of God who died for me and rose again. Come into my life and help me as I turn to live for You.”

When you pray that sincerely:

• God will forgive you.

• He will help you live for Him.

• He will remove the fear of death and give you eternal life.
