• Is Jesus truly the Son of God?

These questions often arise because we live in a world where doubt is normal. Yet, the Bible offers clear guidance and powerful truths to overcome uncertainty.

Recognizing the Source of Doubt

The Bible identifies the devil as the source of doubt and confusion:

• Jesus said, “The devil is a liar and the father of lies.” – John 8:44

• Doubts about God’s love and power are often attempts by the enemy to undermine your faith and rob you of joy and hope.

Faith Overcomes Doubt

Faith is your strongest weapon against doubt:

• Faith means trusting the truth of God’s Word, the Bible.

• Faith is a choice to believe God’s promises, even when doubt creeps in.

Jesus Responds to Doubt with Compassion

The Bible shares a powerful story of a man who brought his son to Jesus for healing (Mark 9):

• Initially, the man doubted, saying, “If you can do anything…”

• Jesus replied, “All things are possible to him who believes.” And then He healed the man’s son, proving His words with powerful action.

What Doubts Are Holding You Back?

Consider this honestly:

• Are there things you’ve stopped praying for, believing God can’t or won’t intervene?

• Is doubt preventing you from experiencing God’s best for your life and those you love?

Jesus encourages you to move beyond doubt to a deeper trust and faith.

Learning from Doubting Thomas

Thomas was a disciple who doubted Jesus’ resurrection until he saw Jesus personally. When he finally encountered Jesus, his doubts vanished, and he exclaimed:

• “My Lord and my God!” – John 20:28

Yet Jesus taught a deeper lesson:

• “Blessed are they who have not seen and yet believe.” – John 20:29

True blessing and peace come from trusting God’s promises, even when we cannot physically see or understand everything clearly.

Take Your Next Step: Trust God Fully

Today, you can choose faith over doubt:

• Trust the Bible as God’s true and trustworthy Word.

• Choose faith by believing that God loves you, He hears your prayers, and He can and will help you.

Pray simply and honestly:

“God, I choose to trust You fully. Help me overcome my doubts and believe Your promises. Strengthen my faith in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
