This Thursday we’ll gather for Laugh & Shine, a special morning to celebrate the friendships, encouragement, and joy we’ve shared throughout our Summer Proverbs Series.

One of the unexpected blessings of this summer is that our group hasn’t just encouraged one another—it has also been noticed by others. Thursday after Thursday, this busy coffee shop has seen a group of men enjoying one another’s company, praying together, having meaningful conversations, sharing laughter, and encouraging each other. What a wonderful testimony to the joy and fellowship that God creates among His people.

Proverbs 15:30 reminds us:

“Light in a messenger’s eyes brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones.”

For our wrap-up, we’d love everyone to join in by bringing one or two clean jokes or a short, amusing story to share with the group. You don’t have to be a comedian—just bring something that will make us smile and enjoy our morning together.

Let’s celebrate what God has done, share a few favorite memories, laugh often, and finish this first Summer Proverbs Series the same way we’ve experienced it—with grateful hearts, genuine fellowship, and a joy that continues to shine for everyone around us.
